UTSA Women's ChoirThe UTSA Women's Choir, directed by Dr. Gary Mabry, was started in 1991. It is an auditioned ensemble composed mostly of music majors, but it is open to any woman who is a student at UTSA. The Women's Choir takes part in the Texas Collegiate Women's Choir Festival each year and performs regularly for various off-campus activities. The ensemble performs a wide variety of choral literature, wiith a focus on upper level concert repertoire for treble voices. The choir has premiered several works including two works by UTSA composer David Heuser.
