Meet the Instructor:

Ashley Craddock is a 2011 graduate of the University of North Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. At UNT, she was awarded the Lucille Murchison Dance & Theatre Scholarship, performed in numerous student and faculty productions, choreographed for multiple shows, and took master classes from celebrated artists such as Bill Evans, Don Halquist, and Bebe Miller, as well as from members of the Jose Limon, Urban Bush Women and Garth Fagan dance companies.

Her most recent work as the In-House Choreographer for the world-renowned SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in San Antonio TX has rewarded her with the delight of teaching and coaching a diverse and ever-changing collection of today’s young professional performers. Since August of 2011, Ashley has had the pleasure of conceptualizing, producing, directing, teaching, and rehearsing countless show productions. She has played an integral role in SeaWorld’s Sesame Product, including the Bay of Play Block Party, Countdown To Halloween, A Sesame Street Christmas, Elmo’s Christmas Wish, and Elmo Rocks, as well as in the end of the night spectaculars such as Jack Is Back and Sol Celebration.

In high school, she performed as a member of the award-winning Navasota Diamonette Dance and Drill Team for 4 years, serving the officer positions of 1st Lieutenant and, later, Captain for 2 years. To date, numerous of her choreographic works in the styles of lyrical, jazz, modern, contemporary, military, pom, kick, and hip hop-have been awarded “Best in Category” or top honor through Danceline, Marching Auxiliaries, Showtime International, and American Dance and Drill Team competitions. She has lectured, taught, and presented her choreographic dance works at national dance conferences, most recently the 2010 NDA Conference in New Mexico and the 2010 NDEO Conference in Arizona. Ashley has also been presented as a guest artist for the Hope at the Harbor charity event by Dance For Hope Charities where her original modern-dance work was commissioned and showcased.

Aside from serving as the In-House Choreographer for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, she is currently a member of the National Dance Educators Organization and Texas Dance Educators Association, serves as an adjudicator for Showtime International, and is a contracted instructor and choreographer for the Academy of Performing Arts: Lone Star Jazz in Conroe TX.
