MENC is the Department of music's newest student organization. It's Purpose is to expand the educational and networking opportunities of UTSA's Music Studies Majors. Whether you are a vocalist, instrumentalist, or string player, MENC has something for you. MENC is the only organization specifically geared toward the Music Studies Majors, providing monthly activities which giving better understanding about teaching in real life situations.
As an MENC Collegiate member you will:   Develop leadership skills Interact with professional music educators from all over the world Discover new teaching methods and techniques Be informed of the latest advancements and innovations in music education Expand your network of the professional world Enhance the credentials on your resume Open doors to job opportunities TO JOIN Talk to One of the MENC officers about obtaining a registration form. We take new Members every fall semester. You DO NOT have to be a member of out chapter in order to participate in our activities.
