UTSA Keyboard Faculty
Christine Debus is currently staff accompanist at UTSA where she teaches and coordinates accompanying and performs extensively in both student and faculty recitals. She studied piano with Gabriel Tacchino and Jacqueline Latarjet, professors of the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris. Previously, Ms. Debus was on the faculty of the Conservatoire de Musique de Bordeaux in France and was also an active chamber musician throughout the Washington D.C. area.
David Eaton is currently UTSA's organ instructor. Dr. Eaton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College-New York, Bronxville, New York; a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Massachusetts; and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. His active performance, church music and teaching career has taken him throughout the United States, the Bahamas, the Netherlands, and Germany. In spring of 2004, Eaton accepted the appointment at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Alamo Heights, San Antonio where he serves as Director of Music, Organist & Choirmaster.
Kasandra Keeling - Coordinator of Keyboard Studies. BM and MM in performance from the University of Houston and DMA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Past teachers include Janice Hodges, Nancy Weems, Alvin Chow and Larry Graham. In demand as a soloist, chamber musician, clinician and adjudicator. Past students have been top prizewinners in various competitions and have been accepted to prestigious graduate programs across the nation
