Audition Process and Application
Instrumental students who wish to apply for a scholarship must audition on the UTSA campus, at a regional location. (prior arrangement with a UTSA faculty member is necessary, or submit a video. Youtube links and DVDS are acceptable.
Voice applicants: an invitation to audition will be required for voice students, based on the evaluation of preliminary recordings. (See Audition Requirements)

AUDITION PROCESS
Step 1: Apply to the University and receive your UTSA Banner (student) ID. To obtain your ID 48 hours after applying, please call admissions at 210-458-8000.
Step 2: Apply to Audition for the Department of Music
Step 3: Submit online recommendations
Step 4: Audition time will be emailed to you
All steps MUST be complete one week prior to your audition date. Voice applicants will receive audition time prior to pre-screening of submitted recording
Step 5: Audition
Step 6: Audition Results (You will be contacted in approximately 2-4 weeks)
