Morgan King received the B.M. from Berklee College of Music and completed independent studies at the Boston Conservatory of Music. He has toured with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra under the direction of Buddy Morrow and made European and Far East tours with Eartha Kitt. Mr. King is active as a freelance musician, having performed with entertainers such as Mel Torme, Bob Hope, Johnny Mathis, Sara Vaughn and others. He is active as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest soloist with area colleges, high schools, and middle schools.

Professor King received a MM from Texas State University in San Marcos and is the author of Jazz Masters Tenor Saxophone Transcriptions published by Hal Leonard.
