Flute Camp
UTSA SUMMER FLUTE CAMP
Come join Dr. Rita Linard, Flute Professor at UTSA, and her staff of area flute teachers for a week of flute playing. The camp will include classes on tone development, technique, etudes, and solo literature, as well as small and large flute ensemble. Bring your flutes and piccolos; alto and bass flutes will be provided. The camp is open to middle and high school flutists. High school students (and entering freshmen) are eligible to take full advantage of the camp experience, which includes meals, campus housing, and evening activities.
All classes will be held in the Arts Building of the University of Texas at San Antonio 1604 campus. The camp will conclude with performances of the camp's flute choir in the UTSA Recital Hall.
Camp Dates: June 11-15, 2012 Time: 10:00am-4:00pm Tuition: ($190.00) (includes sessions, lunch, and t-shirt) $40.00 discount for returning student. Tuition plus Housing: ($420.00) (High school students only- includes the above plus breakfast and dinner) Payment deadline: June 1 (After June 1, $10.00 late fee) Place: The University of Texas at San Antonio (1604 campus)
