Bassoon Day
The UTSA Bassoon Day is open to bassoonists of all ages and levels. Bassoon Day will be held in the ART/Music building on the UTSA 1604, in the Band Hall and Recital Hall. Activities include master classes on the 2011-2012 Texas All-State Etudes, a reed adjusting session, and bassoon band rehearsals. The highlight of the day will be the final concert with the UTSA Bassoon Day Band in which all bassoonists attending can play.
The UTSA Bassoon Day is free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bassoon, reeds, and reed-making equipment if available. Students will have the opportunity to play selections from the etudes during the Master class. Please register early, to ensure your place for the Master classes and Recital.
