Dr. Stephanie Teply, Lecturer, holds a DMA from the
University of Texas at Austin, a MM from Yale University,
and a BM from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Teply is an
active performer, coach, and teacher, and especially enjoys performing solo recitals, chamber music, and new music. In addition to being on the faculty of UTSA, she is also Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin and Viola at Texas Lutheran University and Director of the TLU/MTS Community Music Academy. She has also served on the faculty of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Auberon Chamber Music Festival, The University of Texas String Project, Longhorn Music Camp, and was a Teaching Assistant for Brian Lewis at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the San Antonio Symphony, Austin Lyric Opera, and the Waco Symphony, and has performed with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, Sunriver Music Festival, Victoria Bach Festival, Austin Chamber Ensemble, Audio Inversions, and the University of Texas New Music Ensemble.
