Conductor: Dr. Robert Rustowicz The Wind Ensemble performs challenging works from all genres of wind music: historical, traditional, contemporary, and the avant-garde. Comprised mostly of upper-level music majors and graduate students, the ensemble performs at least three concerts a semester and tours each Spring

| SYMPHONIC BAND Conductor: Dr. Kenneth Williams Literature for the Symphonic Band is selected from the standard and traditional repertoire of music for the concert band. Especially pertinent are works appropriate for high school bands, as many of the band members are music education students pursuing a career as a band director. At least two formal concerts are presented every semester.

Conductor: Dr. Kenneth Williams The University Band performs two concerts each semester. Literature is selected to produce an interesting yet enjoyable rehearsal and concert experience while providing players an opportunity to broaden their musical growth. Members come from all majors and with varying degrees of musical experience. This ensemble also provides secondary instrument performance opportunities for upper-level music majors.

| LABORATORY BAND Coordinator: Designed to provide instrumental music maj ors with an opportunity to play a variety of secondary instruments, the Laboratory Band focuses on music for the young band. Pedagogical concerns are addressed in a "teaching-session" type of rehearsal environment. This ensemble is ideal for non-majors who have had only a few years of band experience and would like to resume their pursuit of instrumental music activities. At least one concert is presented each semester.
