Department of Music

Dr. Eugene Dowdy conducts the UTSA Orchestra featuring the instrumental winner of the UTSA Concerto and Aria Competition held in December 2011. Flutist, Jeremy Jimenez performs Liebermann’s “Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, op. 39” in a program that also features Sibelius’ “Romanze for String Orchestra,” Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy,” and Bizet’s “L’Arlesienne Suite No. 2”.

Please join us the evening of February 14th, 7:30pm in the Recital Hall located in the Arts Building. Admission is $10 regular admission and $5 for students/seniors/military with ID. NO free admissions, including UTSA students. Tickets are sold on line or at the door beginning at 6:30pm the night of the concert.

Parking for this event is in paid slots in Bauerle lot (previously lot #8) or in the Bosque garage off of Edward Ximenes and UTSA Blvd.
