Laurie Buchanan (harp) graduated from the Eastman School of Music where she studied harp with Eileen Malone and Marcel Granjany. She has been principal harp with the American Wind Symphony, the American Shakespeare Festival Theatre, and the San Antonio Symphony. Mrs. Buchanan appears frequently in chamber music recitals and has been a featured soloist throughout the East and Southwestern United States. Active as freelance musician, she has performed with numerous national touring companies of Broadway musicals and made appearances with names such as Count Basie, Johnny Mathis, Dave Brubeck, and Luciano Pavarotti.
